Meet “Arthur,” our delightful mini stuffed sheep, named in honor of Arthur Young, one of the earliest advocates of modern farming practices. Arthur Young, a renowned expert on English agriculture, corresponded with and advised George Washington, sharing valuable insights into farming. In recognition of Young’s contributions, Washington sent him a fleece from one of his prized Hog Island Sheep, which Young declared to be "equal in quality to the Kentish Wool."
